The 500 hour BWY (British Wheel of Yoga) Diploma qualification will train and qualify you to teach yoga. Regulated by OFQUAL the Teaching Diploma is equivalent to a HNC/ first year of a foundation degree. This is the highest level of yoga teacher training currently available in the UK.
The aim of the Diploma Course is to train you to teach yoga asanas, breathing practices/ pranayama, relaxation and meditation to yoga students of varying abilities. The course will also equip you with an understanding of yoga philosophy and principles.
This is a tutor led course requiring classroom attendance every 6 weeks, and completion of lesson plans and assignments in your own time. Course days are held over a period of 2 years in the Chester area.

Foundation Course 1
This BWY Foundation Course is for people who have been practicing yoga regularly and want to develop their knowledge and practice of yoga in all its aspects. It is also a stepping stone to the BWY Teacher Training Diploma for those people considering teacher training.
If you are you interested in deepening your knowledge of this fascinating and ancient practice then this course is for you! In this 60 hour course you will explore yoga in more depth than an average class, covering a range of asana, pranayama, relaxation, mudras, chanting and aspects of yoga philosophy.
